Our safe search feature was introduced back in June when we added a new series of Photosymbols featuring people in various stages of undress, including completely naked. We know a lot of people are using these images, particularly in one-to-one work.

Safe search allows us to tackle more difficult and sensitive topics. One of these issues is around sexual abuse.

We have now added the start of what will be many new images in support of this complex, difficult and upsetting form of abuse.

Switch the safe search on and these images will not show up when using Photosymbols. If and when you do need access to these images you can switch safe search off then go back to the library.
